Excellent Service station, clean warm friendly. Not massive but as the saying goes 'Less is More' Ideal if you have dogs for a short was as well. P.S. Don't tell to many people

No soap in any of the dispensers in the gents so nobody washing hands and then eating. Absolutely disgusting and inexcusable. Food hygiene rating would be 1 star if inspected.

I honestly have had the most wonderful stay!! The staff in the days in are the most incredible & go above & beyond for there guests I have been here 2 weeks & they make you feel so welcome & always are so polite & pleasant to be around. The I would personally stay there again just for the staff!! Highly recomend this hotel 🏨 & will be booking to stay there again very soon 10/10 CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Relatively small services in comparison to others. None the less perfect place for a quick pit stop. Located a short distance from the A1(M). Overall a nice area to take a break, a nice place to stop to fuel-up or have a bite to eat & good coffee. Clean place, amenities well looked after, friendly & helpful staff.

Great Services, with helpful staff. Located just by the A1 with a few places to eat, including McDonalds and Costa. Parking is free for 2 hours. There needs to be more electric car charging points.

This was our first visit to Roadchef Durham. The parking spots are narrow, and the roadways could do with a one-way system to ease congestion. Food areas aren't great. The toilets are OK. Won't be returning here unless desperate.

Most older road services are pretty drab, but this is all round grim. The toilets are bleugh and the narrow corridor to reach them is so bad. Avoid it where I can. Decent parking though. And it has McDonalds.

Brilliant little hotel. Clean rooms, crispy clean sheets and towels, clean bathroom . Lovely ladies at the reception, very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of field area for our dog to have a sniff around and a dog poo bin. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! It’s 6 out of 5 or 11 out of 10 stars ⭐️! The hotel itself is a little tired but couldn’t fault staff in anything. We had very comfortable stay. Thank you Grace & Catherine (gave us pointers where to visit), Tracy? ( I’m rubbish with names) thanks for the village names to look at, the manager lady with short, white hair and the lady we had on last night 2nd-3rd August ‘23. Brilliant 🤩 Thank you 😊

Roadchef are my fave Motorway services in the UK, Durham is top 3. Typical North East friendly staff, car park and grass so clean you could picnic on it. Staff inside so nice and the building is so clean. It’s a fantastic Roachef brand experience with the best staff
