Can see why it was the quietest shop out of the whole service station that was packed. Ham & cheese sandwhich, bottle of water and bottle of diet coke comes to about £8!!! For one person!!! I put the stuff back when I realised. An absolute rip off to regular people who dont have bottomless pockets. I would go as far as to ask the head office if someone were under the influence when comming up with the prices for their items? Either that or just plain greedy taking advantage. Its not like its a tourist attraction where you would expect greedy coroprations to whack up the price for those who dont prepare their own food ahead. This is just a service station supplying toilets and refreshmemts. I would of settled for mc donalds or costa in the end(actual value for money & cheaper with some items as well.) but ques were too long. So we went with out and left. I wont even bother shopping in WHSmith even when we return home. They are absolutelty taking the p**s out of regular working people who drive for a living or on a rest to during their holiday drive.
