I never take any notice of bad reviews as you'd never book anything, prefer to judge for myself. Booked a taxi a month in advance and checked on day to see it was down, which it was and turned up on time. Drive pleasant, what more do you want.

We booked a taxi for a colleague of ours who travelled from out of the area into Durham and was heading to doxford Park. Great communication from pollys taxi and arrived at the station before our colleague arrived on the train, the driver was very polite and well dressed 5 star service

Have tried calling these on 3 occasions whilst on the train from Newcastle. Every time I get a very rude 'we have no free cars' Only to walk to North Road and find 1 or 2 cars Free in the queue for free taxis. Would not recommend them at all

Kept meter running when we got cash out after they said we needed more... Only to find out if we hadn't stopped we'd have been fine.

Chose to ring this company because friend of mine think they are great. Sadly this was not the case-upon asking if there was a taxi available I received at flat "no" , with no explanation of any kind of wait time or anything. When I further enquired i was told that there'd be nothing for at least an hour in an unbelievably rude tone. I can understand if there's nothing free but why be so rude about it? If you don't want to be asked for taxis, why do you run a taxi company??

My first time in Durham and all I got was a rude response and serious attitude just because I couldn't hear him. Ridiculous

If I could give a zero star I would. Rudest bunch of people ever. Customer service is a flat out zero. Never again and I would NOT recommend them to anyone

The worse taxi service I have ever booked in my life. We arrived at the arranged pick up area 15 minutes in advance and then waited an additional 45 minutes and nothing arrived. We attempted calling and texting the driver but no response. Left us stranded at 03:00am in Durham. This is the most pathetic excuse for a company with discusting customer service, I would not recommend this company to anyone as they do not care at all about the customer.
