Jay is a very wholesome and patient instructor who always had my best interests at heart, and helped me with not only my driving ability, but my confidence massively. I was quite a slow learner and needed a lot more hours than typical to get the grasp of driving- I have had a few instructors that haven’t had confidence in me/wasted my money, but Jay definitely was not one of them. He helped me progress for around a year and got me to a good standard of driving, and I was able to pass first time with three minors. The app he uses was also a great help in ensuring we could create goals for subsequent lessons and keep track of payments, progress on skills etc. Despite all of the cheeky sarcasm I will really miss having him as my instructor and seeing him! I would highly recommend Jay. Great teacher, patient, gives plenty of tips, also really good to chat to. Lets you practice in very easy atmosphere, with no pressure. When going through mistakes he is always calm, allows you to reflect and figure out on your own what when wrong and then guides you in the right direction. Again would highly recommend!

I would fully recommend Jay to née learners and remedial learners like myself. Unlike previous instructors I have had, I never felt my mistakes were dwelled on or that I wanted to leave the car and never drive again. Jay helped me to gain the confidence to regain the long dormant information in my brain and I am now finally after 12 years since I passed, I have a car and I can go for a drive in it. No more buses for me.

Can’t recommend Learn with Jay enough! Passed my test within 3 months with only 1 minor. I am so much more confident in driving thanks to his help and encouragement. Highly recommend!

Jay is an experienced professional who is clear with his instructions, helping me to pass first time. His lessons are informative and very helpful for gaining a better understanding of how and why certain things are done. Highly recommend! Passed 1st time with Jay with only 4 minors! Jay is an amazing instructor who is very professional, understanding and patient. He’s very friendly and talkative which makes the driving lessons more fun and enjoyable. He’s very knowledgable and always gives his honest opinion and best advice to improve. He quickly picks up on the mistakes that you do but understands that mistakes happen during driving so he will try to understand the roots of why you do mistakes and maybe struggling and help you improve. Had a really good time learning to drive with Jay. As a very patient and experienced teacher, he made what I thought was going to be a stressful process a really enjoyable time. Being someone who can take longer to grasp things than others, it was a huge relief that Jay was so friendly and someone you could sit and chat with while driving. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their license, since with his help I was able to pass first try. 10/10 👍

Highly recommend Jay as a driving instructor, has a lot of patience and time for people and is very understanding, even if things don’t go your way he is always there for support and help.
