I booked a taxi to take 5 girls from Bowburn to Newcastle Airport. It cost £150. Fair! The taxi collecting us was on time, driver canny and the journey great - lovely. The taxi collecting us hadn't arrived, I had to phone to find out where he was. I was told that he had arrived but wasnt on site as it cost a fortune to wait in the airport (hmm....£150 i paid for the taxi). On the link in the text to say it has arrived, it said the taxi was a white skoda with a number plate '74. When it arrived it was an unmarked minibus which hadn't seen a vacuum or a wash cloth for months. There was rubbish in the back foot wells, including half eaten, rotten apples. NIcotine tablets in the front cubby hole, worn seat and it stank of dirty humans and stale smoke. When I spoke to the driver about it , he said that the guy who used it before him had 6 kids and ferried them around in it. I asked him why he hadn't done a pre journey check and he said he hadn't had time. It's a shame that this return journey was so smelly when the outward journey was ok. I really try to use local firms to support our community and I dont expect perfectly sterile, but this was so sub standard I won't be using them again.

Hi used this taxi company for first time today, I had a wheelchair accessible vehicle , plenty of room for my electric wheelchair, immaculately clean.John the driver was very helpful and very polite and pleasant it was quite a long Journey and it was a very pleasant Journey . I would definitely recommend this taxi company .

The price was also competitive and the company has a good reputation in the area so I will certainly use them again in the future.

Fantastic company! We originally booked a taxi with Pratts (which they confirmed the booking TWICE) and they cancelled before 3 hours of the journey without any reason! We rung up Lennys last minute and they were so understanding of our situation and even though it was a really busy night, they reassured us that they will be there to pick us up! Our driver James was brilliant as well! Will definitely be using this company for all our trips in the future!

Excellent service took us to Newcastle airport (Excellent price), my husband left his mobile in the taxi even though Lenny's taxis were on their way back to Durham they turned around and brought the phone back 5☆ would highly recommend
